("Looni," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit loonifinancial.com or use our app. It is meant to be read alongside our Privacy Policy, and it follows Canadian privacy and consent expectations under PIPEDA and CASL.

2. How Looni uses cookies

To be clear about what we do not do:

- We do not use cookies for third-party advertising, ad networks, or behavioural ad targeting.
- We do not share cookie data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted service providers that help us run Looni, rather than by us directly. We keep these to a limited set, and we choose providers that support our privacy-first approach.
- Supabase — handles authentication and securely manages your sign-in session.
- Our analytics tool — helps us measure aggregated usage so we can improve the product.
These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and may only use the data to provide their service to us. They are not permitted to use it to advertise to you.
5. Managing cookies
You are in control of cookies. You can manage or delete them in a few ways:
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies. Check your browser's help pages for instructions.
- Consent banner. Where we show a cookie consent banner, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies and change your choice at any time.
Please note: if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of Looni may stop working — in particular, you may not be able to sign in or stay signed in.

For strictly necessary cookies, we rely on them being essential to deliver a service you asked for, so they are set when you use Looni. For functional and analytics cookies, we ask for your consent — for example, through a cookie banner — before we set them, in line with Canadian consent expectations.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by adjusting your choices in the consent banner or your browser settings. Withdrawing consent will not affect cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by other means.
